I was invited to present at the DTLA Mini Maker Faire in 2019. The event was held Saturday, December 7, 2019
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Los Angeles Central Library.
Here is a link to my two talks.
Perhaps you signed up to receive this newsletter after attending one of them or speaking with me at the event.

I was recently asked to present to a group of about 100 tech industry innovator-entrepreneurs for Cross Campus’ long-standing Friday Coffee Meetup in Pasadena, California.
If you missed it, you can watch the slideshow/presentation HERE or listen to the podcast HERE.
After my talk, one of the audience members who approached me requested a reading list. I thought sharing it here would be a nice way to offer value to others.
My selections combine my interest in Nature, spirituality, and physics. I hope you find them useful. Reach out to me with any questions these generate for you or to collaborate or share your suggestions.
I’m currently reading Dune, and the film didn’t resonate with me years back when I distractedly watched it, so I find myself delighted by the theme of ecological restoration. Books that find their way to us are just one of the ways the Divine guides our lives, IMHO.
Here is the resource list:
- To Honor the Earth by Dorothy MacClean and Kathleen Thormod Carr
- The Secret Life of Plants
Muscle Shoals (documentary film)
- Not In His Image by John Lamb Lash
- Quest for the Faradawn
- Back to a Future for Mankind by Dr. Ibrahim Karim
